Tacky & sappy but merry wishes to you all

Holidays are all about family and close friends
As we address our greetings, it appears our list never ends.
Couponman wants peace, not world, just his own bit of heaven,
Penny knows better, with tasks to do 24-7.

Big boyActually all we want for Christmas came in February.
Our new Grandbaby makes our hearts merry.
The cutest “Big Boy” ever is named Maddoc,
With little room at the inn, we hope he’s not relegated to the attic.

Seven-year-old Logan, still cute as a bug,
Is reading Harry Potter novel number five and quite smug,
Rowen, still a wiggly worm, now five, when it comes to chocolate, devours
Yet remains slender, chatty, and as sweet as a bouquet of flowers

Bug and WormThe GAP and Mr. Greenjeans in Fullerton still dwell.
With their new addition, the walls of their little home do swell.
Whenever he can, Hot Wheelz snowboards or drives his new white truck.
For a living, he has his own contracting business; he’s no dumb cluck.

At the botanical gardens Coco, loves to dig in the dirt.
Another fancy, wandering thrift stores, looking for a favorite shirt.
Cheezy, back in college after a few delays, studies to be a teacher,
As he works with autistic kids, I’m his fan from the bleachers.

Hanukkah and Christmas greetings go out to you all,
With love to you while you joyfully fight your way at the mall,
It’s been a tough year for many, lots of stress,
Yet with such good friends and family, we are truly blessed.

May your New Year be the best one yet…
That’s what we’re hoping for, you can bet!

Love throughout the year to you all,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I’m getting caught up on emails — again — and loved reading this post. You are still as witty as ever, Penny!

Here’s praying that 2011 will be better than the past 6 months of 2010. I broke my wrist (right one, of course) on 6/8. Rebroke it 2 weeks later (while in a cast!) Had surgery on 10/13 to repair the mal-union of the bones. Now, with a titanium plate and 9 screws in the bone, I’m still going to physical therapy, but can finally type!! Yeah!

    Sandy
