Pet detective

I recently brought back a cumbersome printer from Utah that no one wanted.  When I lifted the copier lid, I found this notice:

 Lost Tux

Lost kitty

A recurring theme

(What is it about lost kitty obsessions and this family? Remember the Worm’s graphic rendition?)

Any way, Tux (who went to a ballgame a few weeks ago) had disappeared.  And my son, Hot Wheelz, printed up flyers.  I can just imagine his poster to find me when I wander off someday in the near future:

Lost Penny, ”Mom or Grandma”

Loveable, nags and eats a lot.

Black and white, no gray.

Today Hot Wheelz called to say he’s added to his menagerie.  Bruce (a dog that can whisper, thanks to Cheezy’s training), Tux (the found cat that makes Bruce crazy), Jack (Bruce’s upstairs neighbor, but via the doggy dog is practically resident), and now a seawater fish aquarium.   His baseball buddies are calling him “Ace Ventura.”

I’m not gonna spoil it for him, but I think he may have wasted a big chunk of change.  My monitor tank looks just as good.  There’s no expense, no upkeep, and the fish never die.

Seawater aquarium  Microsoft aquarium

Now tell me honestly, which one is live and which one is Microsoft?

Your monitor/fish tank is very nice but I must admit I like the real one better.

Tux and a fish tank, huh? Should be very entertaining!!!

  2. Pat S. says:

I used to have a fish screen saver. It disappeared (like Tux) but I never found it again. I miss those screen saver fish.

  3. GT says:

I’m going with the screen saver is on the right. But only because woodgrained monitors went out in the 70′s.
