Merry Christmas to all

I’ve been busy decorating for the holidays
Since forever, well, at least since yesterday
Credit cards are maxed and the freezer is packed
Cuz Couponman started shopping in May

Three grandkidsThe grandkids are busy making their lists
“Santa’s on his way,” they say
The Bug, now eight, wants a video camera
Bet it’s broken by New Year’s Day

Mouse and teddy bearThe six year old Worm who is allergic to cats
Wants a little orange kitty
The twenty-two-month old Mouse
Is perfectly happy with his year old teddy

The GAP and Mr. Greenjeans are doing well
Looking to buy a bigger home
Where their three little rug rats
Would have lots of room to roam

Hot Wheelz has his own handyman business
A dog named Bruce, Tux the cat, and lots of  fish
Cheezy works with autistic kids and still attends school
A college degree in my lifetime, is my Christmas wish

Coco has made the most changes this year
With new job, new apartment, and new man in her life
Couponman loves retirement, while I still work at the firm
I love being a grandma, and am a semi-good wife.  :-)

My sister Holly has survived the dreaded cancer
And the equally malicious chemo
We are indeed grateful for all our blessings
Just like good children, Ho, Ho, Ho

Happy ChristmasBe filled with peace and love and remember the reason
Why each season we go to all this fuss
And believe… if it is humanly possible
Couponman will work a discount at Toys R Us…

Happy Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all!

Penny, you are the best. You make all of us feel like we know your family as well as you do. It would be fun to actually meet one of the boys, I could talk about so many things with them they would think I had known them all their lives. Merry Christmas to all and lets not forget whose Birthday it is.

  11. Valerie says:

I was going to say what Shannon said, but she beat me to it! So I wonder whose daughter she is!!! Love you all, Valerie AND Happy Christmas! Hopefully we’ll have a luckier New Year as far as getting together in person!

I’m so happy to hear that things are going well on the home front and that your sis is doing well after the ordeal she has been through. While I always appreciate your hard work, remember your family is always first, especially at this time of the year. May the blessings of Christmas flow in your home and the New Year bring great opportunities in your life!

My two daughters and two grand boys will be with us on Friday to celebrate. You all have a most memorable and happy Christmas and 2012! Thanks to God for giving you/us all more time with Holly. Great news! May God continue to bless you and your Loved Ones.

Loving you from afar, Eve & Ed

Well, I survived christmas, hope you did too,
now on to a new year, 2011 really flew
but age brings wisdom, at least that’s what they say
Keep looking for your sanity Penny, you’ll find it one day
But in the mean time, keep on posting
your funny-on the way to hilarious-blog
cause you know you “funniness”, is a light through the smog!
